GALLYHEAD,
a promontory in the parish of Ardfield, barony of Ibane and Barryroe,
co. Cork, Munster. It
terminates a narrow peninsula forms, the most southerly ground of
the mainland of the barony, and intervenes between the bays of Ross
and Clonakilty.
