GLENVILLE, a village, in the parish of ARDNAGEEHY, barony of
BARRYMORE, county of CORK, and province of MUNSTER; the population
is returned with the parish. This village, which is situated on a
hill, and is remarkable , for the neatness of the houses, contains
the parish church, R. C. chapel, the parochial schools, a
constabulary police station, and a dispensary.
