Reciting that said Thomas Edwards "for the good of my five
children" assigns to friends Roger Roberts, Thomas Court, innholder,
George Newland, Meath Street, clothier, Thomas Gore, Meath Street,
clothier, Daniel Thackery and Thomas Brotherick both of Pimlicoe,
clothiers, all estate and goods, etc. "merchantize mault and leases,
my house in Pimlicoe aforesaid, and my concerns in New England," to
hold to said trustees for the benefit of said Thomas Edwards for his
life and after his decease for the "breeding up, educating" etc. of
his five children, each child when 21 years or on marriage to have
an equal share. "Memorandum that the names of my above mentioned children are as follows, viz. Sarah Edwards, Alice Edwards, Anne Edwards, Rebekah Edwards, and Thomas Edwards, all which my wife Sarah bore me." |
