Cork Tithe Defaulters for 1831 - Clonpriest Parish

Affidavit: Clonpriest Parish

In consequence of the awful state of agitation on the Subject of tithes in the country, and the organised opposition to tithe caused by large anti tithe meetings and particulary by one held in the parish of Clonpriest, Memorialist has been prevented of having had recourse to the usual proceedings for the recovery of his claims, foreseeing the worse than hopelessness of such a proceeding.
